A small shop with a big print farm
JAK Customs LLC started the way most good shops do — one printer, a pile of ideas and a part nobody sold anymore. Word got around, and the bench filled up with helmets, figures, signs, fitted cases and replacement pieces for people who'd been told "you'll have to buy a whole new one."
Everything is designed, printed and finished in house. Nothing gets drop-shipped, and nothing leaves until it looks right — sanded, painted and test fitted where it matters.
I work with people who know exactly what they want and with people holding a broken piece and a phone photo. Both are welcome.
Owner's story
My name is J.K., and I'm the owner and creator behind JAK Customs LLC. JAK Customs started from a simple idea: if I needed something for the job and couldn't find exactly what I wanted, I'd figure out how to make it myself.
As a law enforcement officer, motor officer and motorcycle instructor, I've spent years working around police motorcycles, duty equipment and the everyday gear officers depend on. That experience gives me a perspective that's hard to get from designing something behind a computer — I understand how this equipment is used, what works, what gets in the way, and where there's room to make something better.
What began with designing custom solutions for myself and other officers quickly grew into much more. Today, JAK Customs LLC specializes in designing and producing unique, functional and fully customized products for motor officers and more — motorcycle accessories, equipment mounts, LIDAR holders, siren covers, cup holders, ticket-writer and printer setups and other law-enforcement equipment, along with personalized humidors, cigar accessories, organizers, gifts and one-of-a-kind custom projects. I enjoy taking an idea and turning it into something real.
A large part of what makes JAK Customs different is that I'm not interested in simply making the same thing everyone else makes. I constantly redesign, test, adjust and improve my products until I'm satisfied with the way they look, fit and function. Whenever possible, my products are designed around real equipment and real-world use rather than generic measurements or one-size-fits-all solutions.
I also enjoy taking on projects that start with nothing more than someone saying, "I wish somebody made something for this." Those are often my favorite builds.
Every project represents the same goal: create something that looks professional, performs the way it should, and gives the customer something they won't find sitting on a store shelf.
